I am in New York

So I have arrived. The rest of my train trip was relatively uneventful and we arrived about 2 hours behind schedule. My system and her boyfriend met me at Penn Station, and from there it was about 20 minutes to the part of Queens where they live. They have a new apartment that I have not yet seen, and I must say that it is much larger than I expected for where we are. It has a nice kitchen, a very large living room, one bedroom and one bath. We get there at about 5:30, and it is just a quick hour and a half before they surprise me with a small party/gathering in my honor. Quick back story, one of the first things I asked my sister about doing up here when we were still in the planning stages was going to Cereality (a restaurant that only serves cereal!!), but they don't have those on the east coast, only the west...now back to the regular story. That night, she invited several friends over (no American Gladiator names for them because I would run out too quickly, so we will go with Saved by the Bell). Lisa, Zack and Kelly all showed up with milk or cereal in tow, and we had our own Cereality party!! It was freaking awesome!! For those of you who may not know me all that well, cereal is my favorite of all of the foods, and this was just the best possible way to start my vacation. From there we went on to play a game called Celebrity (if you would like to learn how to play, it is so very simple, but some of the most fun you can have), and then just hung out for a little while. I started to crash an hour or so later and went to bed.

The next day held softball at the part near Montauck.
